Why I chose AMI Phonics and Math franchise?

Ms Koh: I got to know AMI Phonics and Math learning center many years ago when I sent my two daughters (they are now 20 and 17 yrs old) to AMI for tuition and enrichment. I know the brand well and I feel comfortable working with them.

What kind of training and support did you receive from your franchisor?

Ms Koh: My training started at the Jurong West branch. This was my first taste of working in an education business. Initially, I wasn’t used to it due to my administrative background. However, it wasn’t long before I managed to get the hang of it. I enjoy myself as I am still constantly learning.

What kind of challenges have you faced?

Ms Koh: The tight labor market and high parental expectations have been challenging. It made us relook at the business operation and develop smarter practices to be more efficient in our operations.

Has becoming a franchisee with AMI Phonics and Math Franchise changed your life, if so how?

Ms Koh: Yes, very much so. It has given me the ability to be in control of my own future. I am working to build a business that my own kids might be interested to be involved in. This is a real family business, bringing joy and fun to the family.
